The Gap Between Thinking and Doing

Look, sis, let’s get real for a second. We’ve all been there: staring at that "Send" button on an email that could literally shift our entire trajectory, or standing in the kitchen at 2:00 AM wondering why this life we worked so hard to build feels like a shoe that’s two sizes too small.

But if we want to create our freest lives, we don't just "change." We make audacious moves. But an audacious move isn’t just about catching a flight or quitting a job. It’s a whole process—spiritually, physically, and mentally.

Let’s Break it Down

1. That "Almost" Energy

You know that feeling? You’ve got the draft written. You’ve got the vision board. But you’re hovering. This stage is honestly the most draining because your old self is currently in a wrestling match with the woman you’re becoming. The truth is: You can’t step into that new season while you’re still trying to protect the version of you that’s scared of being judged.

2. The Nervous System "Glitch"

Your brain is wired to keep you safe, not to keep you free. The moment you start planning to level up, your body starts tripping. You get "tired" out of nowhere, or you suddenly feel the need to stay busy with 100 chores so you don’t have to take brave action. That’s not laziness—that’s a glitch. Recognizing that your racing heart is just signaling "excitement in a different outfit" is part of how you bypass the fear. Your nervous system is not used to this expansion and it will naturally react.

3. The Audacity Practice

This is where you have an opportunity to really meet yourself. It’s realizing that nobody is coming to hand you a permission slip. Leveling up requires the absolute audacity to be misunderstood. You have to be okay with people not "getting it" while you’re out here choosing your soul’s mission over your comfort zone.

4. The Soft Landing

An audacious move isn’t actually finished just because you changed your zip code or your job title—it’s finished when your body finally feels safe enough to exhale.

We often talk about "leveling up," but we forget that every time you expand, you are asking your nervous system to hold a higher "voltage" than it’s used to. If you don't intentionally anchor that energy, your body stays in a state of high alert, waiting for the other shoe to drop. This is why you can be in your dream scenario and still feel anxious, restless, or like an imposter. You’ve arrived mentally, but your body is still bracing for the "danger" of the unknown.

The "Soft Landing" is the practice of teaching your cells that the hunt is over and it is safe to rest here. This is where regulation becomes your superpower. Through breathwork, you signal to your brain that you aren't just surviving this shift—you are inhabiting it. You are creating a home within yourself that doesn't shake just because the circumstances around you are new.

To help your body find that safety and stop the internal "bracing," use this guided practice to anchor your energy.

The Essence of Freedom Real Talk:

If you’re stuck in "Almost," stop looking at the mountain and start checking your alignment. An audacious move is 90% spirit and 10% feet—but your spirit can’t lead if your body is stuck in a survival loop. Reclaiming your Inner Authority means trusting your soul’s GPS over your ego’s fear.
