You Are Not the Problem

Updated: 4 days ago

You opened the app to post something. Typed it out. Read it back, found another reason it wasn’t ready yet, and closed the app.

Maybe the lighting was off. Maybe it came out flat and sounded unnatural. Maybe you just didn’t feel like yourself that day, and you told yourself you’d come back to it tomorrow.

But that was a year ago. And a lot of tomorrows have passed since then.

Let’s look at that year from the inside. The way only you have lived it.

Overthinking every post before you let yourself hit send. Second-guessing your offer, the price, the words, all of it. Starting something and stalling out right before it could get any traction. Watching another woman launch the exact thing you’ve been sitting on, and feeling that quiet sting you wouldn’t dare say out loud.

You’ve done everything you were supposed to do. And the clients still aren’t coming.

And underneath all of it, the same voice running on a loop.

“Who do you think you are?”“You’re not ready yet.”“Nobody is going to pay you for this.”“One more certification and then you can really start.”

You already know those voices are lying. You’ve done the mindset work. You’ve said the affirmations on the good mornings, looked yourself in the mirror and meant it. And they keep winning anyway.

So the evidence against yourself keeps stacking. The account you started and went quiet on. The logo you designed and never used. The offer you wrote out in full and never let anyone buy. The bio you’ve reworked so many times you’ve lost track of where you started.

Every time you drop the ball, it gets a little harder to trust yourself when you pick the next one up.

Here’s what I need you to actually hear.

You are not lazy. You have carried things most people will never know about. You show up for your family, for the people in your community who need you, for everyone who leans on you first. You walk into a room and people feel you before you ever open your mouth.

You are not confused about what you want. You know exactly what you’re called to build. That’s the part that makes the staying still so painful.

The work matters — I won’t pretend it doesn’t. The offer, the content, the LLC, the outreach, all of it is real and all of it gets built. But none of that is why you froze.

You’re not standing here because you didn’t want it badly enough.

You’re standing here because nobody ever told you what was actually keeping you in place.

So let’s get into it.
